6 days in Shanghai already! its been such a busy hectic week n have had so little time to catch up with everyone... so sorrie... haven't been doing my part in updating you guys on life here too... so here's the first post in this new place. =)
I'm now staying in 静安区 in 上海。We're staying in a condo at 延平路. Well, here all the so called condos are like our HDBs. Look very chui on the outside, and often on the inside too.haha. the onli condo-like amenities are the supermarket within the condo (2 storeys!) and the nice security guard downstairs. haha...This is the entrance. The light outside our door step in the corridor is damn freaky. it flickers. n when the light goes off, we stamp our feet to get it back on. weird eh.
Here's the area after the entrance. quite spacious la. see the water dispenser on the right? Thats how we drink our water. its the safest wae. we either call the number to get them to change a new one for us for 15rmb($3), or walk to the next block where there's a DIY machine to fill up your own water for 3rmb(60cents).
Our living room. =) messy right? but must tell you that it looks wae better now den before we cleaned it up. the laundry area is near the window. we have an aircon that works as a heater during winter. its freakin hot now. about 38 to 39 degrees. yuck.
Thats kiak. our onli male housemate. ironing shirts before work starts.
This is the toilet in the kitchen. My camera skills r good la. it doesn't look as nice as it does here. very yicky the first time we saw it. grime n all everywhere. Kiak, tini n i use this toilet.
This is Kiak's room. is the smallest one. but very cosy. its supposedly the maid's room. haha
This is Josephine and Angela's room. They took the master bedroom with the large cupboard. haha. 
And the master bedroom toilet. the heater here works much better den the other toilet. but their flush got problem wan. haha... nothin is perfect in this house.
And finally, me n tini's room! we share a so called queen size bed. slightly smaller. we're gonna get some tables to place it where the luggage is now. for studyin and stuff.
ok, so thats the tour of our place. gotta run to some NOC dinner now! some 9 course chinese dinner with the whole batch n the seniors. refusing to drink to not appreciated tonight. haha...tk care ppl! will update soon. by the wae, i start work tomorrow so i'll try to tk some pics. love yall!
